Ad Hoc BBQ Rub Giveaway
My family loves these little BBQ chicken drummettes. I’ve been making them about once a week since discovering the recipe at Williams Sonoma this summer.
Serve them up with Avocado Cucumber Chutney and Cheese Grits ~ and you’ve got a delicious supper to share with friends and family. I usually make a few extras to eat for lunch the next day.
What’s the secret to these crispy, tender drummettes?
This oh-so-fabulous Ad Hoc Sweet & Spicy BBQ Rub from Williams Sonoma {sold only at WS}. I’ve tried other rubs … but this one is the absolute best!
Ad Hoc BBQ Pan Fried Drummettes
10 drummettes * 2 heaping T. Ad Hoc Sweet & Spicy BBQ Rub * 4 T cooking oil (I use vegetable oil)
Pre-heat skillet on medium heat. Thoroughly combine rub and oil. Roll drummette in the mixture, covering well. Place drummette on skillet. Cook about 10 – 15 minutes, rotating drummette every few minutes.
Serve with avocado cucumber chutney, cheese grits and sweet tea. ;)
