Everybody wants less stress in their life. So today, I’m going to share a profound tip guaranteed to decrease stress – and make you much happier. Yes. Guaranteed.

It’s something my dad told me long ago … ready? Here it is:

Do the worst thing first.

Look at your to-do list and do the worst thing first. Now, you might be thinking, Oh come on, Susie. Give me a break. That’s not going to make me less stressed. Happier. But let’s just break it down.

Say you have something sitting on your to-do list. It’s been there a while … begging to get done and you just don’t want to do it. But you need to, have to, and it’s stressful.

So, with my dad’s little tip … you do it first and get it done! Ta-da!

His theory is: Do the thing that you don’t want to do first because you’ll always find time for things you want to do. I have found that to be true.
