This morning, I woke up wondering what kind of dessert to make for Thanksgiving. To pie or not to pie? Normally, that’s a no-brainer. I love pie. Adore pie. But a couple years ago, I met Bud Royer and he introduced me to pumpkin smash …. pumpkin smash and pie are serious competitors.
So as I was thinking this all through … I realized I have most of the recipes I love posted on this blog. And I decided it might be nice for both of us if the ‘Thanksgiving-y’ ones were all posted on one page.
So, here is a quick handy guide to some delicious Thanksgiving recipes just for you. And beware, if you’re dieting (like me) ~ you might need to brace yourself. ;)
My Nearly Famous Buttermilk Pie ~ pie crust recipe included.
Gooey Butter Cupcakes ~ a reader favorite!
And now a few not-to-miss-sides …
Garlic New Potatoes ~ my family loves these!
Messy, Amazing Mac & Cheese ~ ridiculously delicious with ham.
Breakfast for house guests?
Eggs Benedict Casserole ~ if not now, for sure at Christmas!
Popovers ~ completely impressive.
As I start all my baking, I’ll likely update the list. And if you have favorites on your blog you’d like to share, by all means ~ share your link with us. Meanwhile, happy menu planning!!
