white valentine hearts

Because Valentine’s doesn’t always have to mean pink and red … how about a burlap & blue Valentine table?

Last night I met with my girls (we call ourselves the PWA ~ pastor’s wives alliance ~ sounds all official but we’re just the wives of ACF’s community pastors) and enjoyed a little pre-Valentine Sunday Supper. We talked and ate and cried and laughed and sipped on wine til long after the sun went down. This is what we do when you’re not looking. ;)

For my sweet friends, I set a table of burlap & blue. Because while I absolutely adore Valentine’s for all it’s hearts & whatnot … I’m not a fan of pink and red.

When I realized my oh-so-talented friend, Alissa of OhOllie, was able to customize her felt Valentines to my heart’s desire ~ I ordered quite a few.  And I’m so glad to have them on hand.

The PWA’s got one on their plates last night. It’s kind of a green Valentine if you think about it because even though it’s white, they’re totally re-usable. I love that.

On the back of the felt stitched heart, there is a envelope flap so you can tuck in a note or gift card … look how cute Alissa’s red &  white Valentine’s look stuffed with Dove chocolate.

Another something I ordered from Alissa is this fabulous white felt heart garland. Gracious.

I draped it across my kitchen table a few weeks back. Heart happies ~ as Hilliary would say.

Then I pulled it outside last Friday when we had some folks over for dinner. Again, re-usuable. And so versatile.

Now then, Alissa also makes these …in all different colors.

I know, I know. Stop it.

Okay, the good news is ~ Alissa’s providing a sweet discount on her Valentines. Isn’t she a love?
