My daughters- @emilyanneboone & @saradavisreegs -joined me to celebrate the 200th episode.🎉 It delighted me that Sara said, “When I remember my childhood home, I think of white grocery store roses.” Hope you listen in… and get yourself some white grocery store roses too!🤍

Would appreciate any kitten raising tips. Just spent an hour researching kitten litter. 😂 Also curious about the possibility of kitten travel. 🚙✈️ I mean … is that even a real thing? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Just all 🐱 things pretty please.
TODAY: 30 delightful years for @saradavisreegs 🎉🎉🎉

We celebrate her life, her heart, her thoughts on God and the deepest, loveliest things. 💛
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Her joy, her sunshine smile, and her 'everyday a parade' life. Her love of Texas and hiking CO. ☀️ Her teeny tiny handwriting inside journals. Her addiction to Austiny tortillas. And of course, her hands on the guitar and her songs. 🎶🎶🎶
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today it's Pine Canyon Vibes all day long, thanking God for the blessing of mothering my little angel baby of life, Seera, Auntie Pants Davis Regan! 🪅🎉💛☀️
I am not sad. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But if I am not sad.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But if I was I would head out to my garden and let the May morning wash over me. I would tend pink geraniums. Then I would drive, windows open, to get coffee at McDonald’s and remember all the many mornings I would see my dad’s car pull in my driveway. I would see him walk past my front window with two coffees in hand.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am not sad. How could I be sad when I can pull the most precious memories and relive them while I tend my pink geraniums on a May morning?

Life brings change. Sometimes change is hard. Spending this new season with my parents causes me to reflect on seasons past with gratitude and thankfulness. 🌸
WiIl I be resilient? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ WiIl I be resilient?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The last three months, well gracious, what can I say?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It started with the freeze, the lack of electricity, my dad's pneumonia and hospitalization. We almost lost him. But we didn't. ❤️ And I am grateful to say that he and my mom are cozy in a new home all their own.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today I held hands with my parents over lunch and listened to my Daddy pray:
"Thank You, God, for Mimi. Thank You for Susie. Thank You for this food we are about to eat. And thank You for this journey we have been on that led us to this place. And most of all, thank You for Your son, Jesus Christ."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am astounded by my dad's faithfulness to God. His continual gratitude in all the continual changes. The way he pivoted and changed, pivoted and changed - accepting the new, accepting the necessary.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He is resilient. 🤍
I want to follow his example.
So as I pivot and change,
Accepting the new, accepting the necessary,
I will say thank You, God.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And I will smile at the days to come.

Daddy's doing better these days. A lot of things c Daddy's doing better these days. A lot of things changed very quickly for my mom and dad but one thing remains sweeter than ever. ❤️ Swipe and see.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
His bout with pneumonia in February was terrible but we are so grateful that his health continues to improve. I'm really proud of the way my dad found a way to pivot his outlook to his new circumstance and honor God in it. 💛 He is such an example to me. I am grateful to have a dad that loves God and always believes in rejoicing and celebrating each day as it comes, right where he is, inside both the joys and difficulties.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My parents = my forever treasure. ❤️❤️❤️

(@emilyanneboone took these happy photos a while back. Sooo grateful for them!! Take all the pictures of your people! 📷😍📷)
