You’re gorgeous … yes, you!
You’re gorgeous. How do I know?
Because right now, Austin is flooded with these fabulous red admiral butterflies.
Yesterday while I was watering plants in my backyard, one of these little guys landed on my shirt. Slowly opened and closed his wings, as if to say hi … then just as quickly as he arrived, he happily fluttered away.
Did you know that the average life span of a red admiral is between 20 and 40 days? Yep. All that work packed into something so incredibly transitory. Something that’s here today and gone tomorrow.
And that’s when I started thinking about you. And how beautiful you are …
You are God’s best work. Made in the likeness of the Artist Himself. And though you might be watching your body grow old one aching limb at a time, your spirit ~ that invisible, most important part of who you are ~ is ever increasingly glorious. And breathtaking. Exquisite.
So … hey there, gorgeous!
