The Blackstone Griddle transformed our table. For The Blackstone Griddle transformed our table. For starters, Will is doing most of the cooking and he’s really good at it. ❤️ Everything tastes better on the griddle: Chicken, veggies, hamburgers, beef tenderloin, potatoes. 🥞 Pancakes, bacon, and eggs. Most recently, it was chicken, veggies, and rice for Sara’s post-hike supper. As you can see, she was pretty excited. 🙃 I love Goya jasmine rice which I prepared on the cooktop first, then we tossed it on the griddle with the rest. Our tip for the perfect, tender chicken is to marinade first with extra-virgin olive oil + whatever seasoning do you like. Do you have a griddle? ☀️ Any favorite recipes? Cause our whole family is kinda griddle obsessed. 🤩
She’s beautiful and historic. The Chapel on the She’s beautiful and historic. The Chapel on the Rock, officially known as St. Catherine of Siena Chapel, sits at the base of Mt Meeker. Thousands of visitors come to Allenspark, just outside Estes Park, to visit this beautiful, historic church whose first mass was offered in 1935. Inspired by Jesus’ words to Peter, “On this rock I will build my Church,” the church was constructed atop a huge rock formation that most recently withstood a thousand year flood and mudslide in 2013. #davischurchtours 🤍

Grilled Peach, Basil & Mozzarella Sandwich 🥪 Grilled Peach, Basil & Mozzarella Sandwich 🥪 Simply get two slices of your favorite sourdough + 1 T butter + one ripe peach + several leaves of basil. Grill away and enjoy the summer-ish sandwich ever. ☀️ PS. Things I’d do differently: chiffonade basil (makes eating less messy) and use sliced mozzarella (for quicker melting). And yes, I popped these in the microwave for like 30 seconds for a gooey-er sandwich. PPS. Yes. Use a rolling pin to press down your sandwich. That’s a signature Susie sandwich tip. 😂

It works. 😍You can turn a $5 bunch of grocery store flowers into fantastic too! 🌸🎉🌸 Simply fold down every other outer green leaf at base (sepal) and then gently open the petals so that the carnations look a lot more fancy. 🤍
