Prayer for Direction
What do you do when you don’t know what to do? It can be frustrating. And confusing. But what would it feel like if you could simply ask for direction and then trust that you’d know the right thing to do? Think if you could only … ask, trust and then settle in.
For me, asking God for something can be easy. But, trusting and then also settling with what I’m given? That can make me feel like I’m being tossed in waves. Maybe you too? Here is a prayer for uncertain times based on James 1:5-6.
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.
