THINGS TO THINK ABOUT
Give every goal you have a place on the calendar and color-code it. When you see that everything is not going to fit, then you’re able to prioritize. Decide what’s really important to you and what you will do to make sure that it gets done. ~ Will Davis III
Ask yourself with each of your goals: What needs to happen to accomplish this goal?
God can enable you with a lot of spiritual gumption and energy and motivation, but if you’re not able to practically walk out what it takes to do that, then you’re going to feel frustrated and you’re going to feel like you’re missing the mark and not living up to your calling. ~ Susie Davis
Be aware of where your time is going. Decide what’s going to be important to you. If you don’t, everybody else is going to decide it for you. ~ Will Davis III
When you’re unaware of how you’re actually spending your time, you can live under a lie from the enemy, or from someone who has an expectation of you and it can make you think that you’re always under-performing in your life and not living up to your calling. ~ Susie Davis
You can end up spending hours, days, weeks and months being really busy and accomplishing absolutely nothing, and especially not growing in areas that are important to you. ~ Will Davis III
What’s your Big Why? What’s the thing that gets you out of bed in the morning?
God plants that Big Why in your heart as a seed. Discover what it’s all about and be present in the process of what God is growing in you. ~ Will Davis III
You don’t get to the finish line if you don’t take the next step that’s in front of you at any given point. Whether that’s at the ten mile mark or the thirty mile mark. The point is you just have to keep going and that’s the process. The process delivers you to the finish line. ~ Will Davis 3
Will’s evaluates these categories every day: spiritual life, family life, personal life, vocational/business life, and financial life.
What are your those 5 or so things that are most important to you that you need to prioritize?
To one who is feeling discouraged in this season: 1) Don’t quit, keep going. 2) Be grateful.
Make a sticky note wall of all the things you feel God is saying to you.
When we’re where God wants us, that’s where we have the best capacity for relationship, when we’re right in the center of His will. ~ Susie Davis
… grateful, grateful for Davis sharing their music for the DD Podcast. :)
