How Memories Impact Your Spiritual Life | Casey Tygrett
Who am I? What am I about?
If you have ever asked yourself those kinds of questions, then you likely have also had to look back at your story. Author and spiritual director, Casey Tygrett, says that remembering your past is often one of the most courageous things you can do. He spent the past few years researching and unpacking the idea that we are who we are, because of our memories. And his newest book, As I Recall: Discovering the Place of Memories in Our Spiritual Life, speaks to these questions and more.
Casey serves as Theologian in Residence at Parkview Christian Church near Chicago, Illinois. He and his wife, Holley have been married for 18 years and have one daughter, Bailey.
I’m deeply grateful for the work that Casey is doing. We talk about letting God redeem our past, for the good of our present. It’s something that has impacted my life, and I’m sure will impact yours too.
Casey is amazing, listen in!

Dear Daughters is a template for those multi-generational conversations and relationships you’re craving.
Dear Daughters is meant to be a bridge between two groups of women–dear daughters and spiritual mamas. Dear daughters are young women in search of spiritual guidance and spiritual mamas are women just a little further down the road with age-old wisdom to share. Each group has valuable insight for the other and the hope is that the reader will invite someone to come alongside them, pore over the included letters together, and pass along wisdom and advice that will make both lives more beautiful, wherever they are in their God story.
This book, ideal for a gift, is a casebound hardcover with ribbon.
Finally … grateful, grateful for Davis sharing her music for the DD Podcast. :)
